Speculation

I’m frothing at the mouth to know exactly why Gov. Palin up and resigned this afternoon. Until then I’m entertaining myself with baseless and possibly (okay, more likely than not) untrue conjecture. Here’s what I’ve got so far:
- Some Alaskan reporter has incriminating video of her enjoying inappropriate relations with a moose.
- Laggin says it’s possible she was “hiking the Appalachian trail” (*wink*wink*).
- Mr. Tonks disagrees and says it’s more likely she was hanging out with the First Dude of Russia.

Not Russia, My Love.
I actually agreed with Laggin about the Appalachian Trail comment. I think we now can surmise who that mysterious “Maria de Argentina” is. Both Alaska and Argentina begin and end with the letter “A.” So I could see how they might be easily confused when going on gubernatorial junkets.
If this is a “strategic move” for her 2012 race, would Sanford be willing to settle for VP? Surely Palin would insist being “on top” of that ticket. har har har

Building scandal is about to break. Im betting Ms. Family Values has been thieving from the state coffers with both fists. She padded the expense accounts, if you remember. From her point of view, this is just more of the same — hey, it’s not like she took a man’s watch, is it? Stealin’ from the state ain’t actually stealin’! (Her POV, not mine.)
